Took a handgun class here and DOUG was my instructor. He was absolutely awesome and took lots of time to be to thorough and detailed. Great instructor. Great learning experience. OTS and their staff is great. One piece of feedback for the business, not Doug, but I would consider not including the Bear Arms guy talk for insurance. It felt very sales-y and took time away from the class on safety and technique. Not saying the insurance is bad or a bad idea to tell your customers. But just for me personally I'd rather just focus on the class and hear about Bear Arms another time or in another way. Again, Doug was kickass, and OTS is awesome.

Usually go a couple of times a month. Everyone on the staff is very polite and helpful. Range officials keep a safe and professional environment. Prices are reasonable with a fully equipped store for all your shooting needs.

I took the Basic Handgun Class last weekend and Douglas was AMAZING! Very patient with a genuine passion for weaponry that he wants to instill in each person who attends his courses. He's also highly informative and has clearly done his research on the history of weaponry and the fundamentals of modern firing. Good mix of men and women of all ages in the course. I very highly recommend taking the Basic Handgun Class if you're new to weaponry or looking for a great refresher class.

A friend and I just completed a Basic HandGun Class that was taught by Doug.. I've got to say that Doug is a top notch instructor that presents the class in an easy to learn format.. I found Doug to be very attentive to his students' needs and is willing to spend time addressing individual issues..  Id recommend Doug, and On Target to anyone that has an interest in handguns and the safe use of weapons..  I'll continue to use On Target as my go to gun shop and range.. First off the guy at the counter I think his name was Michael was so polite and kind. Great customer service. He treated me and my friend really nice. Definetly coming back here again, the rest of the staff was also very great most of them veterans. Great place to go practice or buy a weapon. Came here like 2 weeks ago. Especial recognition to Michael, 100% recommended.

THE BEST RANGE IN JACKSONVILLE!!! These guys are truly awesome. Every member of the staff is super professional helpful and knowledgeable. Well kept state of the art facility making every visit enjoyable. Safety is a HUGE priority for them and they do a great job of making every customer feel safe at all times. The range safety officers are awesome, and help out in every way they possibly can from YouTube recommendations, to helping zero optics, to making first time shooters feel very comfortable and coaching them along the way. These guys are LEGIT. The NFA section of the store is also very helpful and has went out of their way to help, from installing equipment on my firearms to giving extremely helpful info regarding NFA purchases. I recently ordered a suppressor and the entire process at OTS has been smooth as butter. All in all, this is THE #1 place to go shoot and have a great time!

I’m an experienced shooter and frequent gun shops and ranges regularly. On a given week I visit on target twice to shoot. The shop is clean and staffed with friendly team members who do not give off the vibe of “ gun shop commandos”. This is the only shop in the city that did not gouge on ammo prices during the shortage and I made it a point to remember that. I’ll do my business here from here on out. Great place

Shout out to On Target! Very clean and professional environment. Team is always friendly and knowledgeable. Michael, Ryan, Augustine, Ryan, and Charles always do a great job of keeping everyone safe in the range. Oz, Taylor, Zach, and Dylan do a great job in the store front. Best place to go if you want to hit up a range and or have any questions about fire arms or suppressors!

This was range was fantastic with awesome RSO's. Unfortunately I will not be back as they allow rifles. I did not think that would be a problem, but my wife and I felt like our brain was being rattled by the person shooting the rifle near us. When I left my right ear was ringing even though I doubled up with foam plugs and muffs. It is a shame, I wish they would at least have separate rooms for the rifles.

This review is about a month late, but like the saying goes, “it’s better late than never”. I can’t say enough about the staff and experience at On Target Sports. They are extremely professional, knowledgeable, and pleasant. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted in a professional and pleasant manner. Oz at the front desk was extremely helpful, informative, and pleasant. I had just purchased a new P365X macro & needed the optics zeroed. OTS Range Safety officer, Ryan was gracious enough to take his time, and zero in my optics. He was never in a rush, and was extremely informative and helpful, giving me a great deal of valuable advice. Truly appreciate his time, professionalism, and patience. I will recommend On Target Sports to all my friends and family.
