Essentials of Unarmed Self-Defense
ESSENTIALS OF UNARMED SELF-DEFENSE
What will you do if you can’t get to your handgun or the use of a handgun would be excessive force?
This is a basic, hand-to-hand, self-defense course, lasting 3 hours. Students will learn ways to prevent an assault; plan and prepare for an assault; and techniques to effectively respond to an assault. Students will learn basic self-defense skills, using the principles and techniques of aikido, a non-violent, non-aggressive, yet very powerful Japanese martial art. Aikido uses the power and momentum of the attack, against the attacker, allowing a small person to effortlessly thwart an aggressive attack. Aikido is suitable for everyone, regardless of size, strength or athletic ability. The cost is $65.00 pp, with a maximum of 10 students.
