Our Concealed Weapons Class focuses on the legalities of carrying a concealed weapon/firearm in accordance with state and ATF regulations.  It satisfies the training requirement of FS 790.06 to apply for your Concealed Weapons/Firearms License.  The class runs approximately 3 hours, and includes live fire on our range.   The cost is $55 (plus tax) and includes targets, eye protection/ear protection, and range time.  Please sign up on SignUp Genius (link below).  Space is limited to fifteen students.

*This class is NOT intended for new/novice shooters.  It is not designed as a firearms handling & instruction course.  It is intended for those who already have shooting/firearms experience, and centers around the legalities of concealed carry and the use of force.  All participants will be asked to demonstrate basic firearms proficiency prior to the start of the class.  If you have never shot before, or are a very new/novice shooter, please sign up for our Basic Handgun Class, which will focus on safe firearm handling and fundamental shooting techniques.  This class will also provide a certificate, qualifying you to submit your CWL application.*

You are encouraged to bring your own firearm.  If you do not have your own firearm, OTS has a wide selection of rental pistols and revolvers available for an additional charge (requires the use of OTS ammunition). Topics for the class include:

You are encouraged to bring your own firearm.  If you do not have your own firearm, OTS has a wide selection of rental pistols and revolvers available for an additional charge (requires the use of OTS ammunition). Topics for the class include:

Our Ladies Only Basic Handgun/CWFL class runs approximately 3 hours.   The cost is only $99 (plus tax) and includes targets, eye protection/ear protection, and range time.   Space is limited to 10 students.  Completion of this class also qualifies you to apply for your Florida Concealed Weapons/Firearm License.

A three-hour course designed to take basic pistol shooters and introduce them to the practical shooting principals that will allow them to more effectively engage targets during high-threat situations. This course is for the average person who wishes to develop the real-world shooting skills necessary to survive life-threatening situations. Classes are taught in the traditional OTS relaxed and friendly atmosphere with the majority of the class (90%) taught on the range. This is not a beginner's class. Previous training/handgun shooting experience is required. The cost is $125 and includes targets, eye protection/ear protection, classroom and range time. Space is limited to eight students for this dynamic class. You will need to bring:

• A pistol or revolver suitable for carry on the street
• A strong-side holster (no appendix or shoulder holsters or waist packs)
• Spare magazines or speed-loaders
• 200 rounds of OTS-approved ammunition
• Street attire appropriate for the class (no open-toed or hard-soled footwear, please)

We are now offering a series of advanced concealed carry courses for current CWL holders. The Standard for concealed carry training utilizes simulators, laser-based weapons and special operations-developed training to build skills much faster than traditional firearm training methods.

The Standard has 3 levels of progression and all shooters start at level 1. As skills are learned and demonstrated, shooters can graduate to levels 2 and 3 over time. Training sessions last 1.5 hours, are conducted by an NRA Certified Instructor, and focus on building correct skills through hands-on training and repetition. Students will practice and learn:

• Safety (Level 1-3)

• Mastering Fundamentals (Level 1-3)

• Shooting from the Draw (Level 1-3)

• Turn and Shoot (Level 2 and 3)

• Shoot, Reload, Shoot (Level 2 and 3)

• Close Quarter Engagement (Level 2 and 3)

All 3 levels of training will provide students with unlimited repetitions, trigger pulls and professional instruction in a safe learning environment. As skills are built in each level, times are introduced to challenge students to meet the rigorous Standard. Space is limited to 5 students per class and the cost is $100 per person, per level plus tax.
