I took the Basic Handgun Class last weekend and Douglas was AMAZING! Very patient with a genuine passion for weaponry that he wants to instill in each person who attends his courses. He's also highly informative and has clearly done his research on the history of weaponry and the fundamentals of modern firing. Good mix of men and women of all ages in the course. I very highly recommend taking the Basic Handgun Class if you're new to weaponry or looking for a great refresher class.

It's been over a decade since I have done any shooting, so I signed up for their basic handgun safety and handling course for the refresher. I not only had the safety refresher I was hoping for, but some really good tips for aiming/breathing/control that we could practice dryfire with 'laser guns' in the class room before going out to the real firing range. Instructor Doug was awesome, but everyone there was friendly and welcoming - I will definitely be going back. Highly recommend.

Mark is very Knowledgable. I asked so many basic and stupid questions, and he answered with patience. There is only thing I wish they can make some changes. The target paper, most of the time, it is our first target palate, and I believe we want to keep it. It is required that our coach has to keep it, and we can only take a picture of it. We believe, we can stick 2 papers on the board, and we can take one home, and they can keep one as their record. Anyway, perfect experience! Highly recommend.

I shot a couple of times here and after the excellent experience and help I received, I signed up for a membership. Went today to sight in my guns with new reflex sights and had help from Dylan. Couldn't have asked for more. Great time. Thanks all

THE BEST RANGE IN JACKSONVILLE!!! These guys are truly awesome. Every member of the staff is super professional helpful and knowledgeable. Well kept state of the art facility making every visit enjoyable. Safety is a HUGE priority for them and they do a great job of making every customer feel safe at all times. The range safety officers are awesome, and help out in every way they possibly can from YouTube recommendations, to helping zero optics, to making first time shooters feel very comfortable and coaching them along the way. These guys are LEGIT. The NFA section of the store is also very helpful and has went out of their way to help, from installing equipment on my firearms to giving extremely helpful info regarding NFA purchases. I recently ordered a suppressor and the entire process at OTS has been smooth as butter. All in all, this is THE #1 place to go shoot and have a great time!

Greats folks here. Lots of knowledge of NFA weapons. Range is digitally controlled and nice and cool. Well ventilated also. Range safety officers there are really watchful (a good thing) and helpful if there are issues. It gets pretty busy but people cycle in and out pretty quickly. There’s a comfy couch and drink machine if you need to wait for anything.

Took a handgun class here and DOUG was my instructor. He was absolutely awesome and took lots of time to be to thorough and detailed. Great instructor. Great learning experience. OTS and their staff is great. One piece of feedback for the business, not Doug, but I would consider not including the Bear Arms guy talk for insurance. It felt very sales-y and took time away from the class on safety and technique. Not saying the insurance is bad or a bad idea to tell your customers. But just for me personally I'd rather just focus on the class and hear about Bear Arms another time or in another way. Again, Doug was kickass, and OTS is awesome.

My wife and I were blown away by this location. We are on the look out for new handguns and have been testing a few at different ranges. OTS team was very helpful and didn't mind us asking them a handful of questions to get more opinion on the matter. It was clear that OTS also made safety their top priority and we really appreciated that. We rented four handguns and shot 150 rounds. We will definitely be returning. If I could give it higher than a 5 rating I would.

I can't put into words how much I love this place. Everyone is so friendly and helpful there. You actually get greeted once you step inside (this is missing from many establishments nowadays). Danny, who was inside the range, was extremely helpful to my father-in-law and me. He helped to get us started and gave both of us some very useful advice/insights to how we were shooting and how to fix any problems with the gun as they came up. My father-in-law and I cannot wait to come back next Monday and get our memberships. We plan on making this our once-a-week hobby to become more proficient with our weapons. The facility is top notch and clean. They have everything you could possibly need in store and are more than happy to help you figure out what would work best for you and your guns. Also, being new to guns, they never judge or make you feel stupid for not knowing something. They are absolutely there to help you become more knowledgeable and become a better shooter. I highly recommend this place for all your shooting, gun and accessory needs. Keep up the great work and see you guys soon!

My husband, adult son, and myself took the conceal and carry course with Mark at this location and it was excellent. Mark was extremely knowledgeable and made the material interesting and relatable to everyday life. Even though I grew up around gums, they still make meextremely nervous so I was worried about taking the class and hitting the targets. Mark was so patient and made the class enjoyable for me. I left feeling confident in using my gun and finally understood how safe target shooting can be fun. Even though you don’t technically need a conceal and carry in Florida (big yikes), Mark was excellent at educating my young adult son on handling guns the legal and right way while fully explaining the importance of calmly observing and reacting to your surroundings in a manner that won’t put yourself or others in unnecessary legal or physical danger. In our highly litigious world, this class is a must for any gun owner. Besides it being an excellent class, the facility is top notch with clean and updated technology. Highly recommend.
