I took the Basic Handgun Class with Mark Singleton and he was phenomenal. The class was balanced well with a presentation and live practice. This was my first time with any firearm, and Mark's lessons in the class and his pointers on the range were great. I'll be back to this range in the future! A customer of mine Johnathan Errico recommended this range, and I can see why.

Amazing First-Time Experience — Highly Recommend for Women & Beginners! I visited On Target Sports in Orange Park and had a fantastic experience—especially with the help of Michael Bush, one of the range masters. From start to finish, he was professional, extremely knowledgeable, patient, and friendly. He took the time to walk me through the process, checked in on me throughout, and made sure I felt comfortable and confident. Even the range officer inside brought a great sense of humor, which helped calm any nerves—especially if it’s your first time. I went on Ladies Night (Wednesdays), which is definitely more affordable and a great way to ease into it. I highly recommend bringing a friend with you—it’s a fun, empowering activity to do together. They also let you try out different handguns depending on your comfort level, and the team really tailors the experience based on your needs. This is a welcoming, beginner-friendly, and safe environment, whether you’re going solo, with friends, or even considering a family outing in the future. The entire staff was warm and inviting, which made a huge difference. I’ll definitely be back soon!

From the second I walked in I knew I was going to like this place, especially when they pick on retired Navy personnel (you know who you are) :-)! I took the basic handgun training course facilitated by Mark Singleton. He made the class very intersting and professionally informative. I highly recommend OTS! P.S. It helps to read the Range Rules before you come so there is no misunderstanding of what is expected. On Target!!

Usually go a couple of times a month. Everyone on the staff is very polite and helpful. Range officials keep a safe and professional environment. Prices are reasonable with a fully equipped store for all your shooting needs.

My wife and I were blown away by this location. We are on the look out for new handguns and have been testing a few at different ranges. OTS team was very helpful and didn't mind us asking them a handful of questions to get more opinion on the matter. It was clear that OTS also made safety their top priority and we really appreciated that. We rented four handguns and shot 150 rounds. We will definitely be returning. If I could give it higher than a 5 rating I would.

Great gun range! All of the workers were super professional and helpful. And, also patient. I'll most certainly be back! I highly recommend this range. Kudos to Isaac, who assisted me with how to better hold my hands when firing my Glock 22 LR.

A friend and I just completed a Basic HandGun Class that was taught by Doug.. I've got to say that Doug is a top notch instructor that presents the class in an easy to learn format.. I found Doug to be very attentive to his students' needs and is willing to spend time addressing individual issues..  Id recommend Doug, and On Target to anyone that has an interest in handguns and the safe use of weapons..  I'll continue to use On Target as my go to gun shop and range.. I took the Basic Handgun Class last weekend and Douglas was AMAZING! Very patient with a genuine passion for weaponry that he wants to instill in each person who attends his courses. He's also highly informative and has clearly done his research on the history of weaponry and the fundamentals of modern firing. Good mix of men and women of all ages in the course. I very highly recommend taking the Basic Handgun Class if you're new to weaponry or looking for a great refresher class.

THE BEST RANGE IN JACKSONVILLE!!! These guys are truly awesome. Every member of the staff is super professional helpful and knowledgeable. Well kept state of the art facility making every visit enjoyable. Safety is a HUGE priority for them and they do a great job of making every customer feel safe at all times. The range safety officers are awesome, and help out in every way they possibly can from YouTube recommendations, to helping zero optics, to making first time shooters feel very comfortable and coaching them along the way. These guys are LEGIT. The NFA section of the store is also very helpful and has went out of their way to help, from installing equipment on my firearms to giving extremely helpful info regarding NFA purchases. I recently ordered a suppressor and the entire process at OTS has been smooth as butter. All in all, this is THE #1 place to go shoot and have a great time!

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The shooting range is excellent, and not a sweatbox like most indoor ranges. Selection of rental guns includes automatics, which is must for anyone who hasn't tried it. This will definitely be my first choice shooting range.
